A project such as the one the Maritime Heritage Foundation is undertaking provides many opportunities for participation on the part of individuals who wish to do so. Apart from a contracted shipwright and his crew, the project requires a special group of people whose time and interest allow them to be part of a community that supports and enables a unique project such as this to come to fruition. Some are able to contribute financial resources, others can serve as docents explaining the intriguing aspect of 16th century boat building to the many visitors who will come to the site, still others may engage in the boat construction itself.

A schedule will be created from an interactive calendar so that all who are interested will be able to participate on a regular basis.
