Getting Caught Up

Hello and welcome to the restart of our blog. It’s been two years since the last entry and I’m here to help us get caught back up.

My name’s is James (but you can call me Jim, Jimmy, or whatever as long as it’s with a smile) and I’ll be taking over this blog going forward for the Foundation and the Chalupa 450th project. I’m a volunteer with the St Augustine Maritime Heritage Foundation having come on board after the Family Fun Day at the end of June of this year. I’ve been working on the Chalupa with the crew and have taken pictures since July and will try and get you all caught up with where we are. Unfortunately, I can’t fill in the blanks before June but be assured that a lot of work has been done and we’re progressing towards a December launch!
